WorldSkills UK is a portfolio of 70 skills competitions designed by leading industry experts and training providers aimed at students, trainees and employees. Top performers in certain competitions could get the opportunity to enter an International WorldSkills Competition. The most recent was Shizuoka 2007 - WorldSkills Team UK 2007 site. The next will be Canada 2009 followed  by London 2011.

WorldSkills UK is the UK's premier set of skills competitions for young people and adults. Their main aim is to help raise the standards of training and performance at work by strengthening the contribution of skills competitions to the UK economy.

WorldSkills UK is supported by government, the Devolved Nations and a host of other partners across business, industry and the world of education and training.
