How to become a Beacon

Ministers award Beacon status and application is by invitation only. The QIA uses inspection report information and LSC performance assessments to identify potential candidates. Account will be taken of the regional and sector balance of the existing Beacon Network. Finally the QIA make an assessment of the candidates and a recommendation is made to Ministers.
